Can you sprigg bermuda grass in the fall?

i live in oklahoma an was wondering if anyone knew if sprigging a bermuda pasture in the fall would take. im affraid if i do it now in june it would be too late (but don't know that for sure) an was wondering if someone could tell me if doing it this fall maybe early august if it would still have time to germinate an spread some before our harsh winters which norm don't start until mid to late nov even dec.i would like to have a nice lush pasture for my horses next year an not sure when the best time would be to start now since the normal time frame of april or may is gone.
