I don't know what to do about my boyfriend's gambling... help me please!?

Gambling is OK if it is in fun - Grand National, one or two football bets, but it is easy to get out of hand. I rememember my ex g/f losing 1000 pounds on a roulette wheel. He needs to want to stop it himself.
