Are slots the worst thing to gamble on at a casino?

I heard from a professional gambler that slots are the biggest scams in the casino market. They are more addictive than table games and they suck in more money than table games because of the way they are set up. At least with table games you have some strategy and thinking to do. With slots it's just mindless button pushing. Anyone else agree?
