Innotek In-Ground fencing system, transmitter question?

I am going to put one out for my dog, but I don't know what happened to the transmitter. It was my brothers and I guess when he moved he lost the transmitter. So, is there another kind of transmitter I can buy? Would one for electic fencing work? No rude answers please. It's either in-ground fencing or a chain. He keeps going into the road (has already been hit twice. Thankfully no injuries.) and into the neighbors cow pasture. We have over 50 acres he can roam on and he still chooses to go across the road. -.- So... Is there another kind of transmitter I can buy? Would one for electic fencing work?
