What can i do about my former employers daughter and nephew assaulting me and calling the cops blaming me?

so I am now The one facing assault charges When I was only self defending. I was currently at work When this happend and my employer was trying to stop me from leaving bc The cops were coming but her daughter was still trying to assault me over and over. I came back when the cops showed up. are there any employee laws in Ohio they broke?
