Compulsive gambler need �2k and "help!" advice please?

I am increasingly selfish man who has destroyed my life and that if my family. My wife left me last year after I had a failed suicide attempt. I had been leading a double life and had amassed severe gambling debts and could not go on anymore. I spent 2 weeks in hospital following the failed attempt and everyday since i have lived in hell. We have 2 wonderful children who I only get to see once a week (if I am lucky and only for about 3 hours.) I recently have been living with my parents who have been incredibly kind. But I can't go on living anymore. I tried so hard to conquer my gambling compulsion. I found solace for a while in gamblers anonymous but then the dream world of the gambler overtook me and I ran up further debt and continued lying to my family about my whereabouts and my finances. I have a good job, where I manage to put on a different persona and get work done to a high standard, and I get on well with my colleagues. but each month I end up losing my wages and my losing my will to live. I have no real friends. I look at the 50 or so people on facebook and there is only one person on there who I would count as a friend. I even rang the Samaritans today, because I have no one else to speak to. My problem is that I can't get the thought of doing serious harm to myself out of my head. I have lost my wages and the �2k I need to cover payments of my debt management plan, my car finance and my mortgage has gone. I feel I have no option but to leave this world now. I have let everyone down. I did the same last month and my parents bailed me out but won't do it again and they have categorically said this. If I gamble again I am homeless and disowned. I can't move back to my own home as I am not welcome there. So my question I guess is two... The first is where the hell can I get �2k to put right all this mess and keep living for another month...? As long as he is comfortable and seems to be improving, there is nothing else to be done except to watch and wait. He could have injured his shoulder or any number of things. Recently, I've been going through a lot. I've adjusted to a lot of changes in such a small amount of time. My mom is a gambler, my dad is in jail, and my cousin and boyfriend took me in and they moved from Philly to New Jersey just for me. I am absolutely grateful for the things they've done for me. And I'm not lazy, I just procrastinated a lot. Of course they found out and they got upset because I wasn't communicating with them and I haven't had a real conversation with them in a month. I feel like I'm living in a dormitory with them and we're all strangers. I never apologized to them because I'm afraid they're going to hit me, because my mom did when I was in 5th grade and my cousin hit her brother back then. Her boyfriend doesn't know about her abusing her brother but he does know about my mom. That's the real reason why I can't talk to them because I'm so scared she'll hit me. And they're so infuriated with me because I won't speak up. They said that if I don't speak up by the end of finals (this Tuesday), I can go live somewhere else. I have no other home and I have no other family that would take me in because they'd probably side with her. It could be that it was just an "accidental" breeding. They didn't know about it and could claim innocent because of that. The sale was final 6 months ago. I don't think there is any legal recourse. Just have to deal with it. It is what it is.

Fat Horse, Bareback Problem, Summer Sore?

Well sometimes when horses gain weight, it affects their back and she may be a little sensitive! I'd suggest lounging her every day. Just light exercise, but if she seems like she can handle more than do more! If you do easy jogging, about a half hour a day should make progress! If your doing a faster trot then maybe a half hour or less. I wouldn't recommended lounging at the gallop because galloping is way easier for them then trotting! If your trying to get weight off her, go with either jog trotting or regular trotting at least a half hour a day. Try to get into a routine of it! It will help both you and her! Hope this helps! =D Good Luck! Also a handful of grain once a day wouldn't hurt but no more than that! And especially right now, try not to let her get more that a couple hours a day outside of the rich grass. If you have to leave her out, a grazing muzzle wouldn't hurt!

three weeks ago on the 8th my boyfriend and i were messing around and he ended up getting pre-*** on his fingers and then touched me down there. On Saturday the 18th i got what i thought was my period. I had extremly bad cramps , my skin broke out, and i was kind of bloated. It stopped sunday night which is really weird for me because theyre usually 4-6 days long. I had light spotting on monday and tuesday. My friend suggested to take a pregnancy test so i took one on that wednesday the 22, which was 2 weeks from the wednesday when my bf was over. It came back negative. The same incident between my bf and i happend again the past tuesday the 28 which was day 11 of my cycle. I took a pregnancy test just now to see what it'd say and it was one of the ones with blue dye..the control screen had a really thick blue line on it and the positive screen had a really really realllyy thin, faint blue line.I havent gained weight Ive actually lost 2 pounds, i dont have morning sickness, and im not sensitive to any smells. Yesterday last night and today i woke up with weird discharge on my underwear. it was really dark and ive had two tampons in since and theyve all had the dark brown discharge and some blood. im having slight cramps atm, too. Feeding suggestions for my TB?

Hi im looking for some suggestions on what to feed my horse. I've never used Equiaide, but if it doesn't work or you want to try something different, I recommend Underwood's Horse Medicine. My horse had an injury that developed proud flesh. We were putting medicine on it (I can't remember what we tried first--the vet recommended it) and keeping it wrapped, and it kept it from getting worse but it really wasn't healing, either. Problem bonding with horse?!?

I have just started leasing a new horse, Spirit. She is a 13 yr old half arab. Her first owner was a real bad guy. He would whip her with a chain lead rope when she misbehaved. She was then bred and gave birth to a stillborn foal. Her second owner had her fully trained well and took good care of her, although he never saw her alot. He boarded her at my best friend's stables where I met her. Now, I am leasing her. She was at first very, very jumpy and hated leaving her herd. I worked with her A LOT and now I am riding her with my friend. She still jumps at tiny things. The first few times I rode her, she was great. Now, she hates being ridden and trys to do anything to get back to her herd. I feel like I have given her all of my affection and time and in return I get a horse who wants to run me over to get back to her pasture mate. I know she was abused and horses are herd animals, but honestly I do not know what to do anymore. I have always wanted a horse and everyone knows a girls dream horse is the perfect best friend. I do not want to give up on her yet, so how do I get her to trust me? Any methods or exercises? three weeks ago on the 8th my boyfriend and i were messing around and he ended up getting pre-*** on his fingers and then touched me down there. A couple of months ago i started to hear voices . I always seem to hear them as soon as I get in bed. I do not hear anything during the day. I had the SAME thing happen to mee! I was soo afraid to go backwards on my tumbling i had my roundoff handspring tuck, but then all the sudden i was so scared and my body like wouldnt let me! I had a bad mental block for about 2 years but im just now coming out of it! Now i have my handspring tuck back!! So, what helped me overcome my fear was just doing it! You never fully get over your first love. I dont know how much this will help but.... I have a similar story. We fell madly inlove then we went our seperate ways and never really got closure. We ran into eachother a few more times over the years and have kept in contact since. The neighborhood kids and dogs are harassing my goats,?

We have seven diary goats in a big pasture and neighbor kids will run them and we think shoot them with B.B. guns.This is not to mention feral dogs that have killed one and put another under the care of a veterinarian! Hard time putting weight on my 27 year old gelding?

I have a 27 year old arabian gelding that is a rescue horse. He's 15.1 hands and last time I weight taped him he was 860 lbs.. He's SKINNY!!!! I currently have him on purina senior feed he gets it in the morning and evening, beat pulp morning and evening and he is at pasture right now for free grazing and I just don't think he's gaining as much weight as i would like to see. I am increasingly selfish man who has destroyed my life and that if my family. My wife left me last year after I had a failed suicide attempt. Exercise him and lunge him frequently, as much as possible. He is stressed from the move and the restriction of space... Keeping him entertained with toys and licks will help him keep calm and entertained when you aren't there to walk, exercise, and ride him. If he doesn't calm within a month ask your vet what feed he would recommend and what calming supplements he would recommend.

How can i get my horse to stop bucking when i try to make her go faster?

I have a 7 year old quarter horse mare who is bred for penning, and roping. She is trained for barrels, poles, etc. and when i try to get her to go faster than a gallop she bucks. You have to get her curious about you, go into her pen for a while and don't touch her or go near her, just stand or sit with your head turned away from her, it might take a while, a few times of doing that for as long as you can, and I can't grantee it will work, but it is worth a shot and I have had some success with it, another thing you could try is Join-Up, there are some good examples on YouTube you can look at for how to do it. Whenever my horse gets a bad attitude I work him in my round pen for a bit, turning him often and making him really work, he knows if he accepts my challenge for leadership he gets to stop working, but he has to be calm, and accepting, otherwise he gets to work more. I wouldn't give up on her to easily though, you just got her and it may take some time for her to relax and accept you, but if it starts turning into more than a few months of working her, getting a trainer would be a good idea, but keep at it, and you should get some results.

a man walks over too me and my mate drunk and starts touching my shoulder nudging me and generaly wants a fight soo we are both drunk and hes really drunk soo we tell him F*** off more or less and hes tryna start soo i punched him and my mates wrestled to the floor with him hitting him and then we have stamped on his head a couple of times it went abit too far but his injurys was apparently just a small concussion mayby a few cuts aswell. soo we denie it all in the police station yet they say theres cctv of it all but wont show us the camera footage. bearing in mind its dark and a few people around us who were witness for the guy . well anyway eventually we are charged with ABH and now have court. crown or majistarte i dont know ? what doo you think theyd give me if i plee guilty ? and its my 3rd offence ? 2 other previous (ABH and section 4 public disorder). and im not proud of anything thats happend im gutted . anyones advice would help thanks.

How do i get my horse's respect?

I have a beautiful APHA mare who I've been leasing for 7 months now and she literally does it all. Western pleasure, english pleasure, gaming, jumping, trails. EVERYTHING. But she's very marish and thinks she's the boss and thinks its okay to push me around. I have to ride with spurs and if those don't work then I ride with both a crop and spurs. She throws a fit at least twice everytime I ride. When I lunge her she only goes to a trot and if I try to make her go faster she pins her ears and has even kicked at me. But she can be a very good girl too. She's always happy to see me and walks right up to me when I go get her from the pasture. I just don't understand why she throws ***** fits all the time. I'm not afraid of her, I discipline her by making her turn the tightest circles possible or if she bucks she gets the whip. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong!!!! Her saddle fits, so don't say its that. I use a firm voice, go AH AH, everything. She just doesn't listen and doesn't care. I wanna show her but I'm not trying to embarrass myself by getting thrown off!

My Gelding Urinates ALOT, what do you think it may be?

I have a 5 year old Arabian, he pees ALOT. He is very healthy, living on a pure alfalfa pasture. He drinks alot of water, so I thought it may just be because hes well hydrated. On our most recent trail ride, which was 3 1/2hrs, he urinated a total of 7 times. And each time was at least 30 seconds in duration. He fully up-to date on Worming and shots, and super healthy. Should I be worrying? Or get it checked out? Our other 8 year old Arabian hardly pees at all. We are lucky if he urinates once on a trail. . . o_o

Flies wont stay away?

I go out the barn everyday. its been about 95 degrees out for about two weeks now and the horses stay sweaty needless to say. but i've noticed that my horse gets COVERED in flies everyday. more so than the other horses and they're all out in the pasture just the same. i curry and brush his whole body down to the hooves everyday and spray him all the way down with fly spray but its like the flies dont even notice it. literally 5, 10 minutes after spraying him there are flies covering him again and i dont know what to do to make them leave. sometimes i use repel x and sometimes i use bug block they are both good fly sprays. anyway its making me upset. what do i do?

I was sleeping something weird happend.?

When i was young like 4 years old, a few times i would have these freaky dreams, not dreams of anything evil just random crazy dreams and then suddenly i could see my body in bed, and then i would just freeze i couldn't breathe or move i would try to call for help but i couldn't say anything, and then it stopped for a few years till i got 11, it happened once when i was 11, i was sleeping with my mom and then i saw her she looked like the grudge, so her body didn't turn around but her head did, and i was so scared i couldn't get away or move or scream. and then now im 17 and yesterday i had a dream about my friend, we were hanging and then she turned evil and her face got darker and i was in my bed and she came towards my face, looks like she was trying to suck my face, and then i was so scared she looked so scary and dark i couldn't breathe or move, at first i was like wake up megan wake up I was trying so hard to scream for help but few min later i woke up, and didn't go back to sleep! What is this?

Why couldn't i sleep for 24hrs,had reduce appetite,changes in temperature....?

Okay so this has never happend to me.I tried to sleep all night but i couldn't.Usually when i don't sleep well i crave sweets today i craved nothing had a reduce appetite and my pupils remained dilated almost all day and in the ,morning when i went to go check my eyes they where wide wake and i didn't feel sleepy at all.I felted different from the norm.Was i drugged?

2 days ago I got my 5 year old out to rie well not "out". But just riding her in the pature with a halter like a do sometimes. Granted she hadn't been ridden ridden just kinda lightly worked in the last 3 weeks every other day or ever 3 or 4 days. I got her halter on and hopped on. Started walking around in the pasture every thing was going fine, asked her to go into a trot every thing was okay she was listening, then BOOM! I asked her to go into a trot for the second time and she went into a bucking frenzy, I lost it on the third or foruth buck as I was bareback, I got up after I yelled a few words I will not repeat. Checked her back for pain checked her legs nothing she was fine, anyway. I got her out of the pasture today just to work on her, everything was going okay I got her to trot with no problem and walk with no problem. I wanted to take it easy as she seemed stiff NOT limping but stiff. So she started to lope I knew something was wrong right away. She loped three or four steps went into a bucking frenzy again. I hit so hard on the ground tonight I couldn't breath and we thought I had internal bleeding and are still waiting to see if I have to go to the hospital. As my mom is a nurse blah blah blah. After she threw me I wanted to get right back on, I even told my neighbor that came runnning and my mother and father I wanted back on right away. So I found her brought her back up and was going to get back on. But instead lunged her on the round pen until she was sweating(I let her have breaks). She then joined up with me........Which is a first for both of us. Anyway she is not in pain her tack fits I have checked her back her legs under her belly every where. There is no sign of pain or discomfert. She has never EVER acted like this. In the whole time she was being broken she only through me once. That was my fault though as I thought she was ready and I rushed and she wasn't. So I paid the rightful price for that. But i mean she is like a whole new horse she seems mean and just doesn't want near me anymore(well until we joined up tonight). No she is not in heat I have been watching since she threw me the first time. Did *I* do something wrong!? Could I have caused her to do this or? I have always been light with my hands and seat never have been rough. I don't know what to think. If it gets any worse or she seems worse I am gonna call the vet out and the chiro if the vet can't find anything wrong, to give her a check over. But I have no idea why she has acted like this.......Help please?

Why wont my horse join up?

I tried joining up with my mare today and it just didn't work. I sent her cantering around the round pen, eyes locked on hers, shoulders square. I sent her both to the left and to the right, looking for all the signs of join up (one ear locked on me, licking and chewing, head low to the ground) but she didn't do any of it. She just totally disregarded my actions. After a REALLY long time of her doing mindless circles, I gave up. Is she testing me? Is she doing this because she's been the alpha mare her whole life in the pasture? Please help! I really want to bond with her but I feel like there's a wall between us!
